Gundy: Oklahoma State supports Bryant '100 percent'

STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) - Oklahoma State star receiver Dez Bryant has his coach's backing.

Bryant is expected to seek reinstatement after the school declared him ineligible last week for lying to the NCAA about his relationship with former NFL star Deion Sanders. Bryant sat out Saturday as No. 16 Oklahoma State won 36-31 at Texas A&M.

Coach Mike Gundy said Monday the situation regarding Bryant's eligibility is out of Oklahoma State's hands, but he backs his player "100 percent."

Bryant, his attorney and Oklahoma State compliance director Scott Williams are expected to meet Tuesday with NCAA officials in Indianapolis.

Gundy says he hasn't been told how quickly the situation might be resolved. Oklahoma State will host Missouri this Saturday.
