Report: Texas willing to stay in Big 12

According to a report on Orangebloods.com, sources say that Texas will commit to a 10-team Big 12 and may make an announcement as early as today.

That move could hold the conference together and stop any potential moves to the Pac-10. It could also mean that the hopes of the conference rest in the hands of Texas A&M. The Aggies have been offered a spot in the SEC.

ESPN is reporting that a move to the Pac-10 by Texas, Texas Tech, Oklahoma and Oklahoma State will happen, and the efforts of the Big 12 will fail.
