OSU ready to move forward with 10 member Big 12

Oklahoma State athletic director Mike Holder says he's excited about the future of the Big 12 now that OSU, Oklahoma, Texas, Texas Tech and Texas A&M have turned down the Pac 10's invitation.
Holder also said Tuesday that University of Oklahoma officials
said they wouldn't go anywhere without OSU. The Cowboy athletic
director says the Pac 10 invitation was to all five schools.
The Pac 10 began courting the schools and Colorado after the Big
10 made overtures to Nebraska. The Cornhuskers have announced plans
to leave the Big 12 for the Big 10 and Colorado will join the Pac
Holder credited Big 12 commissioner Dan Beebe with keeping the
Big 12 intact and says the conference's next revenue sharing plan
will be much better for the schools.
