Oklahoma State officials say crews are clearing snow and ice from inside Boone Pickens Stadium in preparation for the Oklahoma State-Oklahoma football game.
The No. 6 Cowboys and No. 18 Sooners play Saturday starting at 11 a.m.
OSU says snow blowers are being used to clear walkways, snow- and ice-melting compounds are being used on stairs and walkways and the stadium seats are being swept. Tractors are clearing snow from the field and snow is being shoveled from the sidelines and other spaces while snow blowers and compounds are being used to clear ice and snow from outside the stadium.
The National Weather Service reports the area received about 2½ inches of snow and ice from winter storms that crossed the state Thursday and Friday.
