ECU Men’s Golf Finishes Sixth at Lion’s Classic

The East Central University men’s golf team finished tied for sixth, out of 11 teams, at the 2014 Lion’s Classic hosted by Arkansas-Fort Smith at Hardscrabble Country Club.

The Tigers were led by sophomore Jordan Bates, who finished 13th overall with a 151 (74-77). Junior Mickane Replogle was tied for 18th, with a 154 (72-82), just three shots behind.

Sophomore Jason Goben was tied for 31st, with a 157 (81-76) and freshman Justin Largent was two strokes behind with a 159 (80-79) and tied for 38th. Sophomore Blade Knox rounded out the field tied for 41st, with a 160 (78-82).

The Tigers will continue its 2014 season at the Natural State Spring Classic hosted by Harding at Red Apple Country Club in Heber Springs, Ark., March 30-April 1.
