Ellenberg leads experienced No. 11 Oklahoma

Oklahoma's women's basketball team returns four starters from last season's NCAA tournament regional semifinalist team, including senior guard Aaryn Ellenberg.

Ellenberg averaged 18.7 points last season, taking on a bigger role after Whitney Hand went down with a season-ending injury early in the season.

Ellenberg spent part of the offseason representing the United States at the World University Games in Russia, where she was coached by Sooners coach Sherri Coale. Coale and Ellenberg's teammates said she became a better leader through that experience.

The No. 11 Sooners open the season Nov. 8 against Stetson in the Women's Preseason NIT.
