Lady Tigers Seventh After First Round of NSU Women’s Classic

The East Central University women’s golf team is in seventh, out of 11 teams, after the first day of the Northeastern State Women’s Classic at Cherokee Hills.

The Lady Tigers have a team score of 340, 31 strokes off the leader Arkansas Tech (309).

ECU was led by freshman Molli Taylor. Taylor is tied for 20th individually with an 82. Senior Megan Dutton is tied for 23rd with an 83.

Sophomore Madison Myers is tied for 32nd with an 87, junior Lindsey Lunceford is tied for 36 with an 88 and junior Shay Shaw is 51 with a 98.

The tournament will wrap up, Tuesday, Sept. 17.
