Southeastern Oklahoma's softball coach will
be honored for reaching his 600th collegiate coaching victory.
Ron Faubion will be recognized at the National Fastpitch Coaches
Association convention beginning Nov. 30 in Las Vegas, Nev.
Faubion has amassed a 500-204 record during his 12 years at
Before becoming a college coach, he spent 21 years coaching at
the high school level. Faubion started the softball program at
Oologah High School, and compiled a 479-124 record over 14 seasons
before coming to Southeastern Oklahoma.
His .710 winning percentage at the college level puts him in the
top 50 on the all-time list for winning percentage in all
Faubion is in the top 15 among active NCAA Division II coaches
and all-time DII coaches in winning percentage.
