Sooners to play Iowa State on Thanksgiving weekend

Oklahoma has finalized its 2011 football
schedule, after the Big 12 shifted the Sooners' game against Iowa
State to Thanksgiving weekend.
The league announced Thursday that Oklahoma would host the
Cyclones on Nov. 26, two weeks after the game was initially
expected to be played.
That'll put the Sooners in action one week before their rivalry
game Dec. 3 against Oklahoma State, which will have Thanksgiving
weekend off.
Oklahoma's season will start with a Sept. 3 home game against
Tulsa, then an off week before a Sept. 17 visit to Florida State
and a Sept. 24 rematch against Missouri, which beat the Sooners
last season.
Oklahoma hosts Ball State Oct. 1 in its final nonconference
game, one week before the Red River Rivalry game against Texas in
Dallas.
