Southeastern closed out the final round of the GAC Fall Preview on Tuesday afternoon and despite a rough stretch was able to halo onto second place with a three-round 867, four shots off the lead.
The tally was a combined three-over-par for the three-round tournament as a team playing on the 6,970 yard, par-72 North Course at Lake Hefner GC in Oklahoma City, Okla.
Jeff Hunter was just as consistent in the final round as he was on Monday, firing a final round 70 to finish in third place with a seven-under-par 209, six shots behind the individual winner.
Marcos Sevilla Suarez was hit the hardest by a night's rest, firing a final round 78 to finish with an even-par 216 in a tie for ninth.
Ash Alstadt matched his second round score in the final round, carding a one-under 71 and finishing the event with a one-over-par 217 in a tie for 13th.
Matt McIntosh had a rough Monday to the tune of a 79 to finish with a 225 in a tie for 28th, while Robert Perry fired an 80 and finished in 45th with a 232.
Greyden Blevins finished strong as well as an individual, turning in a one-over 73 to post a three-round mark of 220 and finish tied for 18th.
SE and tournament winner Harding finished the event in the same order they finished day one, with the Savage Storm still four strokes back, due to both teams firing team rounds of 298 on Tuesday.
Host Southern Nazarene had Tuesday's low round with a 288 and closed to finish tied for third, just two strokes behind SE.
Henderson State also fired a 298 in the final round and finished tied for third with SNU.
Southeastern will be back in action Sept. 23-24 when it travels to Broken Arrow, Okla., to play in the Northeastern State Golf Classic at Emerald Falls CC.
