Southeastern Second in NCAA Central Region Poll

In the second NCAA Central Region poll released, Southeastern held firm in its No. 2 position heading into the Great American Conference Tournament April 25-27 in Bentonville, Ark.

Despite being the first team in the region to 40 wins, winning a regular season conference championship and moving to No. 3 in the nation, the Savage Storm were unable to overtake Fort Hays State who held onto the top spot for the second-straight week.

The NSIC holds Nos. 3 through 5 in Winona State, Minnesota State-Mankato and Augustana.

Central Oklahoma checks in at No. 6, followed by Minot State and Missouri Western State.

Emporia State and Truman State round out the regional top 10.
