The Southeastern Savage Storm softball team is looking to make history.
The Storm are on their way to the Super-Regional in Sioux Falls, where they'll take on Augustana in a three game set for a chance at advancing to the Division II Championship.
"It's crazy, I'm excited, it's very tiring, traveling so much, but I'm so excited, it means everything," said right fielder and Coalgate native Laramie Beal.
The ladies have rebounded from a rough, injury filled start, and are in a position to advance farther than ever before.
"That's what you play for, If your not playing for that, if you don't have those expectations that you want be a national champ or minimally get there, you probably shouldn't be playing."
First pitch of game one will be in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Friday at noon.
