Fans who can’t be at the game can find links to live stats, live video (if available) and the KXFC radio broadcast on ECUTigers.com. Go to the men’s basketball schedule page.

Scouting Ouachita Baptist
The Tigers are 2-2 overall after losing their last two games. That included a 106-111 loss in overtime to Rogers State Nov. 16. While their record is even, OBU has a +13.5 scoring and +3.5 rebounding margin over its opponents. OBU and its rivals have also had strong shooting performances, with OBU shooting .553 from the floor and allowing a .435 mark.

OBU has four players that are averaging double-digit point totals, with Colt Fason leading the team with 19 points and nine rebounds per outing. Fason is shooting .566 (30-of-53) from the floor and is 4-of-10 from beyond the arc. Eric Braeuer adds 15.8 points, while Micha Delpa contributes 14.3 and Allen Buchanan is averaging 13.8 points per game.

Against the Tigers
Last year each team earned a win on their home court, with ECU earning the last win of the season.

Senior Chris Fisher led ECU with 16 points and five assists in the series, while senior Colby Carr added 12 points and 6.5 rebounds per game. Carr also contributed six assists and three steals.

Colt Fason and Micah Delph are the top returners for OBU. Fason averaged 12 points and four boards per game, while Delph chipped in 7.5 points and 3.5 rebounds.

The Series
After each team won a game in the all-time series a season ago, ECU currently holds a 9-6 lead in the series.

Team Effort
The Tigers new look and focus has resulted in a more even box score, with at most one player not scoring or earning a rebound in each outing so far this season. At least half of the 10 players in each game have also dished out an assist.

Making a Difference Off the Court
On the court is not the only place that you can find a member of ECU men’s basketball team this season. Since head coach Ja Havens has taken over the program the Tigers have renewed their commitment to community service. ECU has been a part of several community service projects since the start of the school year, with an emphasis on youth events. The Tigers have been to several elementary and middle schools in the area to read with the students and to get to know their younger fans.

Consistent Colby
A coaching change did not stop senior Colby Carr from continuing his consistent performances on the court. Carr has recorded at least one point and one rebound in all 29 games since he joined the Tigers in 2012-13. The New Orleans, La., native is also not afraid to share the ball, dishing out an assists in the last 18 games for ECU.

Henry Stepping Out
In the opening game of the 2013-14 season, senior Henry Pwono had one of the best games of his career. Pwono tallied a career-best 16 points and added 11 rebounds for the first double-double of his career. The Pittsburgh, Pa., native also added a career high six made field goals, two blocks and four free throws.

Tigers Picked to Finish 10th
The Tigers were picked to finish 10th in the Great American Conference in the 2013-14 GAC Preseason Poll as voted on by the league’s head coaches.

ECU received 28 points in the poll and were above Southern Arkansas, with 22 points.

Up Next
The Tigers will host Henderson State, Saturday, Nov. 23 at 4 p.m. before starting a four-game road trip that will last until Dec. 20.
