Southeastern’s Urald King was named first team all-Lone Star Conference as announced at the LSC award banquet on Tuesday night in Bartlesville, Okla.
King, a junior from West Monroe, La., led the Savage Storm in scoring on the season with 12.5 ppg, but was even more impressive in North Division competition with a mark of 15.6 ppg.
He scored in an efficient manner, hitting 54.4 percent of his shots and was even beter down the stretch with a 58.6 percent mark in conference play.
He also paced the squad on the glass with 6.4 rpg during the season and was more than a rebound better in conference play at 7.5 rpg.
King is if the first SE player selected to the first team since Eric Babers and Jason Stampley each earned the honor after the 2006-07 season.
