“Our women return just a few from last year's squad,” said Sawyer. “However, we added a lot of talented student-athletes to the roster. There will be eight new faces on the team this year from all over the United States. I am excited to see what these youngsters can do. If we can bond closely and train hard together as a team, then our goal would be for a second straight conference title."
Choate comes to the Lady Tigers after helping Hennessey to three-straight top-three state finishes in cross country and three-straight track & field state titles. As a junior and a sophomore she finished first individually at the Oklahoma State Cross Country meet.

Swart has been a member of the both the Drummond cross country and track & field teams for four seasons. As a junior she helped the cross country team to a fourth-place regional finish. In her senior season with the track team she claimed fourth at the state meet in the 800 and first in the 3200.
Taff joined the Edmond Memorial High School cross country team in 2011 and helped the team claim conference, regional and state titles in 2011 and a sixth-place showing at the state meet in 2012.
