Women’s Golf Finishes 13th at St. Edward’s Invitational

The East Central University women’s golf team finished 13th at its first competition of the spring in a field of 14 teams that included six in the top 35 in the nation.

The Lady Tigers were paced by sophomore Sarah Delong, who finished tied for 40th. Delong finished the two-day event with a score of 166 (81-85).

Freshman Molli Taylor finished tied for 45th, with a 168 (82-86), junior Sara Posey was tied for 48th with a 169 (83-86), junior Lindsey Lunceford was tied for 64th with a 176 (90-86) and sophomore Madison Myers was 68th with a 178 (90-88).

ECU will next be in action March 9-11 at the Texoma Chevy Dealers Lion Intercollegiate in Pottsboro, Texas.
