Women’s Tennis Prepares for Thee Matches in Five Days

The East Central University women’s tennis team will look to improve on their 3-4 overall and 1-0 mark in the Great American Conference, with three matches slated over a five-day span.

The Lady Tigers will first travel to Southern Nazarene, Thursday, March 28 at 3 p.m. for a GAC match with the Crimson Storm. SNU is 2-6 overall and 1-0 in the league after dropping their last two matches. Their GAC win came against Southeastern (8-1).

ECU will then look to make up its match against Arkansas Tech that was rescheduled from March 23 to Saturday, March 30 at the ECU Tennis Courts at 12:30 p.m. The Golden Suns are currently 5-3 overall and 3-0 in the GAC after winning their last four matches, all at home. ATU will first face Northeastern State (March 26) and Henderson State (March 29) before traveling to Ada.

The Lady Tigers will wrap up the three matches, Monday, April 1 at 1 p.m. against Seminole State. Seminole State is 3-4 overall after playing three matches last weekend.
