Men’s Tennis to Host Two Matches

The East Central University men’s tennis team will play its next two matches at the ECU Tennis Courts. The Tigers (2-7, 0-0 GAC) will host their first Great American Conference opponents, Saturday, March 30 at 10 a.m. when Ouachita Baptist comes to town. ECU will then host Seminole State, Monday, April 1 at 1 p.m.

Tigers Set to Host Arkansas-Monticello at Tiger Field

The East Central University baseball team will return home for the first three games of four-straight at Tiger Field, March 29-30. The Tigers will face Arkansas-Monticello in a Great American Conference series. The teams will play a single game, Friday, March 29 at 1 p.m. and then battle through a double-header, Saturday, March 30 starting at 1 p.m.

Softball Series at Southern Nazarene Changed to Thursday/Friday

The four-game series between the East Central University softball team and Southern Nazarene has been moved up do to weather expected in the area over the weekend. The teams will now battle at Cypert Athletic Facility, Thursday, March 28 and Friday, March 29 in Bethany, Okla. Thursday’s games will start at 2 p.m. and Saturday’s at noon.

Blevins Finishes Second, Storm in Fourth

Greyden Blevins posted a second-round score of 73 and slipped from first to second, while Southeastern fired a 301 as a team and moved up one spot to finish fourth at the 2013 Lions Classic at the Hardscrabble Country Club in Fort Smith, Ark.
