Oklahoma State football coach Mike Gundy says defensive end Jamie Blatnick and safety Victor Johnson are "paying a price" for their arrests in the weeks leading up to training camp.
Gundy says the two players did not participate in the Cowboys'
first practice Friday but were out with the team "paying a price
for the embarrassment that they brought the program."
Blatnick, a former Celina Bobcats standout, is facing a felony charge of assault and battery with a
dangerous weapon after a bar fight early Saturday with a former OSU
offensive lineman. Johnson faces misdemeanor charges from separate
arrests for allegedly driving drunk in June and having marijuana at
his campus apartment two weekends ago.
Both started games for Oklahoma State last season.
