DURANT, Okla. - The Southeastern Oklahoma State University football team (1-4, 0-1 LSC-N) allowed 410 yards of offense by Texas A&M-Commerce (2-5, 1-1 LSC-N) en route to a 41-39 loss in three overtimes on Saturday night at Paul Laird Field.

TAMUC's Nabil El-Amin scored a two-point conversion in the third overtime to give the Lions the win.

Despite giving up 410 yard and gaining 294 on offense, the Storm held a 23-17 lead with :53 to play in regulation.

"That game was a roller coaster of emotion," said Southeastern head coach Ray Richards, "We were going from the highest highs, to the lowest lows."

Kolby Williams hooked up with two different receivers for touchdowns, with Brandon Covington grabbing five total catches for 55 yards and Jay Rose grabbing two receptions for 43 yards. Ty Hull also reeled in five passes for a total of 46 yards .

Defensively, Bernard Daniel posted 14 tackles, while Jairus Martin had five tackles and two interceptions, including one he returned 65 yards for a touchdown.

SOSU got on the board first when Martin grabbed a Trent Miller pass out of the sky and returned it 65 yards to give SOSU a 7-0 lead.

The Lions took the ensuing drive 76 yards on eight plays to tie the score at 7-7.

TAMUC took the lead in the third quarter on a Chris Quiroga field goal, but SOSU took their next possession 56 yards on four plays and scored on a three-yard run by Carter to take a 14-10 lead.

Williams added to the score with 13:32 to play in the game with a one-yard plunge to take a 21-10 lead.

Commerce responded, however, marching the ball down the field 74 yards in nine plays to cut the score to 21 - 16 on a Terry Mayo pass to Orlando Hernandez, but failed on the two-point try.

SOSU was unable to move the ball on its next possession, but a 41 yard punt by Will White rolled out-of-bounds at the two yard line to pin the Lions deep.

That punt set up a Jabir Perkins sack of Mayo for a safety that put SOSU up 23-16.

TAMUC responded with a 75 yard drive that lasted 11 plays and culminated on a Mayo pass to Maldrick Grice to tie the game at 23-23.

Cole Jones kicked the first field goal of overtime, and Quiroga followed suit to end OT one knotted at 26-26.

Commerce took first possession in the second OT and a 24 yard pass from Mayo to Anthony Eustace set up a one yard quarterback sneak to put the Lions up 33-26.

The Storm answered on the first play of their possession when Williams found Covington on a screen play that went for a 25-yard touchdown and tied the score at 33-33.

Williams hooked up with Rose on the third play of the third O T for a 32 yard score, but was unable to convert on the mandatory two-point conversion.

The Lions' Mayo connected with Chris Miller for the score to tie the game at 39-39 and set up the two-point conversion by El-Amin.

"This was a game between two very evenly matched teams," said Richards.

The Storm will now get back on the road to face Southwestern Oklahoma State in Weatherford, Okla., on Oct. 13 at 6 p.m
