Jimmy Stevens will be the kicker for No. 8
Oklahoma for at least one more week.
Coach Bob Stoops says starter Patrick O'Hara was unable to
practice Monday after missing the Sooners' game against Air Force
on Saturday. Stevens replaced him and was perfect on field goal
attempts from 32 and 41 yards plus three extra points.
Stoops says O'Hara, who had a muscle strain, was still "pretty
sore" and he plans on having Stevens as his kicker for Saturday
night's game at Cincinnati.
He says linebacker Austin Box still hasn't recovered from a back
injury that's kept him out all season and freshman running back
Brennan Clay will miss his second straight game because of a
concussion suffered two weeks ago against Florida State.
