D-backs and Rockies set for Game 1

Major League Baseball jumps back on the sports radar screen tonight with Game One of the National League Championship Series.

It'll be NL West champion Arizona Diamondbacks hosting wildcard winner Colorado at Chase Field. It's the first time two West division teams are meeting to decide the NL pennant.

Reigning Cy Young Award winner Brandon Webb will be on the mound for the Diamondbacks, with 17-game winner Jeff Francis toeing the slab for the Rockies.

The Rockies come in having won 17 of their last 18 including a first-round, three-game sweep of Philadelphia. The D-backs swept the Chicago Cubs in the first round. Colorado won the season series 10-8.

The first game of the American League Championship Series is slated for tomorrow night in Boston with the Red Sox entertaining Cleveland.
