GRAYSON COUNTY, Tex. -- There is a big change of plays for cable subscribers in Grayson County. Cable One General Manager Claude Edwards told sports director David Reed that the cable company plans on showing the Cowboys-Packers game on Thursday night.

The game is scheduled to be aired on the NFL Network. Cable One was issued a letter from the NFL on Monday, stating that the cable company could not air the game on KDFI in Grayson County. Now Cable One says that the they are not picking up NFL Network, but plan on airing the game on KDFI, cable channel 2 in Sherman and Denison.

"As of now, we are planning on showing the game," Edwards said. "But it is a very fluid situation."

Most Oklahoma viewers can only see the game on NFL Network. KDFI also has broadcast rights in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area. Only the home television markets of the teams involved (Dallas and Green Bay) is the game being shown on cable.

Grayson County is considered its own television market (Sherman/Ada), whereas Collin and Cooke counties are included in the 'home' DFW television market.

NFL Network is available only on DirecTV and DISH Network in our area. If you are a DirecTV (Channel 212) or Dish Network (Channel 154) customer, you will be able to watch Thursday night's game.

As of Thursday morning, here's where to tune in to see the Cowboys/Packers game:

Cable One: Channel 2
DirecTV: Channel 212
Dish Network: Channel 154

The Cowboys-Packers game begins at 7 p.m. on Thursday night. Both teams are 10-1 on the season.
