Ada calls special board meeting

Ada, OK -- Steve Dean's days as the Ada Head Football coach appear to be running out.

The Ada School District announced a special school board meeting scheduled for Thursday of this week in which the future of Dean, and 2 of his assistant coaches will be discussed.

The Cougars were a disappointing 5-5 this season with a 4-3 district record, and failed to make the playoffs.

According to published reports, Ada Superintendent Pat Harrison says he will reccomend that the school go in a different direction in terms of their head football coach.

That meeting is set for 1 p.m. at the Ada Board of Education Buillding on Thursday.
