Mavericks activate Stackhouse Save Email Print

DALLAS (AP) - The Dallas Mavericks today activated sixth man Jerry Stackhouse from the injured list -- in time to play tonight against the Boston Celtics. Stackhouse missed 20 of the previous 24 games because of a groin injury. He'd been out since March sixth. Stackhouse is third on the team with 15-point-six points per game. To open a roster spot for Stackhouse, the Mavericks put rookie center D.J. Mbenga on the injured list with a strained right hamstring.
