1-25-08 - All of Friday's Southern Oklahoma Classic games will be played at Plainview because of water contamination at Lone Grove High School.
Half of the games were scheduled to be played in Lone Grove. Those games have been moved to Plainview's alternate gym. This is the second consecutive day in which officials have made the change.
Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality officials say the city has shut its water supply off after a pesticide spill Wednesday afternoon.
DEQ officials are urging residents not to drink, bathe, or cook with the water. DEQ urges water customers in lone grove not to even turn the faucet on.
Crews are collecting water samples, and lab technicians in Oklahoma City are standing by to process those samples. They say it could take up to two days for DEQ to clear it.
