The difference in the game was rebounding, especially on the offensive glass. ECU held a 44-to-29 advantage on the boards overall and a 21-to-9 edge on the offensive end.

The Storm struck first and held a lead until the 15:38 mark when the Tigers got a three.

The Storm stopped the bleeding, but were unable to close the gap with the teams trading buckets until the Tigers finished the half with a 48-36 lead.

Southeastern fought back in the second half, closing the gap to 61-53 with 11:24 remaining, but were unable to hold the momentum.

Two more times down the stretch they would close the deficit to single digits, but the Tigers found a bucket each time and held on to fashion the final score of 83-73.
