08-21-05 The Coalgate Wildcats will be a little bit meaner this season. Head Coach Joe McCulley thinks a mean streak is all that separates his team from being a pretender from pretender or contender for a state championship.
The Cats return quarterback Daniel Stingley who had a superb season in 2004. But the Cats know that success this season is built around beating Stratford, a team they lost to last year, and the team many consider the favorite in the district.
