Ardmore to begin interviewing candidates Friday

Ardmore, OK -- With only 30 applications to sift through, the committee charged with finding the new Ardmore High School head football coach already has a short list together, that according to Ardmore Assistant Superintendent Dr. Fred Wright.

Dr. Wright told KXII Sports today that he and the rest of the search committee will begin interviewing potential candidates this Friday, and will complete their interviews by the following Friday, May 2nd.

No indication was given as to when Ardmore might announce their new hire, but the next regularly scheduled school board meeting is set for May 13th.

The new coach will take over for Mike Loyd who left the Tigers to become the first head coach at a start-up high school near Jacksonville, FL.
