Scott Lowrance is the new head boys basketball coach at Durant. Lowrance leaves Ada, where he coached the Cougars for the past two years, to take the job at his alma-mater.

Lowrance replaces Don Overton, who experienced great success in Durant. Overton led the Lions to the state semifinals just three years ago.
