Sherman women's basketball coach Heather Lane is leaving the Lady Cats to take the head coaching job at Celeste.

The only reason given for her departure was to be closer to home. "This was just a great opportunity for me to be near my home in Leonard," Lane said. "I'll be able to be the head coach there and athletic coordinator."

KXII will have more information tomorrow on First News at Five, Six and Ten.
