Cowboys Fall To Skins

LANDOVER, Md. (AP) - Washington completed a season sweep of
NFC East-rival Dallas with a 35-to-7 pounding of the visiting
Cowboys. It had been ten years since the Skins last did that.

The Redskins had seven sacks and took advantage of four Dallas
turnovers and kept their playoff hopes alive with a third straight
win. Both teams are 8-and-6 and two-games behind the division-leading New York Giants.

Mark Brunell threw four touchdown passes -- three of them to
H-back Chris Cooley.

And Clinton Portis added to the carnage by rushing for 112
yards.

Dallas quarterback Drew Bledsoe accounted for all of those
turnovers with three interceptions and a lost fumble.

The Cowboys, who entered the game tied for the league lead in
fewest penalties, were flagged nine times.
