ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) - John Rheinecker and Rick Bauer combined
on a four-hit shutout as Texas blanked Seattle 2-to-0. That's the
Mariners' fifth straight loss.
Seattle has been shut out for a major league-high seven times
this season.
Rheinecker struck out six, walked one and had 13 groundball outs
in his eight and a-third innings. He's 1-and-0. It was Bauer's
first save.
