ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) - The Texas Rangers did their scoring in
the third inning of a 6-to-4 win over Seattle.
The Mariners led 3-to-0 before absorbing their season-high sixth
consecutive loss. Brad Wilkerson capped the Rangers' rally with a
grand slam after Michael Young hit a two-run homer.
Texas eked out the win despite four errors, two wild pitches and
a passed ball.
Kevin Millwood improved to 6-and-3, allowing four runs and nine
hits over six innings. Akinori Otsuka (OHTS'-kuh) picked up his
ninth save by closing out the Rangers' fifth victory in six games.
Gil Meche (mehsh) surrendered nine hits over five and a-third.
