Phoenix Crushes Dallas, Evens Series

PHOENIX (AP) - Raja Bell played nearly 31 minutes and Leandro
Barbosa scored 24 points as the Phoenix Suns whipped the Dallas
Mavericks 106-to-86 to even the Western Conference finals at two
games apiece.

Bell made a surprise start after missing the previous two games
with a slight tear in his left calf. He had nine points, four
rebounds and three assists while providing a spark that allowed the
Suns to end a two-game skid.

The Suns shot 54 percent, with Barbosa going 10-for-13 from the
field. Boris Diaw (DEE'-ow) added 20 points for the Suns, who used
a 20-to-4 run to take an 87-to-69 lead in the fourth quarter.

Steve Nash chipped in 21 points and seven assists to the
victory.

Dirk Nowitzki was held to eleven points on 3-of-13 shooting for
the Mavericks, who trailed by as many as 25 in the final period.
Josh Howard scored a team-high 16 points before leaving the game
with an apparent shin injury midway through the fourth quarter.

Game Five is Thursday in Dallas.
