IRVING, Texas (AP) - The Dallas Cowboys are sending DeMarcus
Ware and four of his teammates to the Pro Bowl.
However, Quarterback Tony Romo will have to stay at home. The team set an NFL record with 13 Pro Bowl selections last time.
Ware is in line for his third trip to Hawaii. He has 19 sacks and with two games remaining is four sacks away from breaking Michael Strahan's single-season record. Ware had three sacks Sunday in the Cowboys' 20-8 win over the Giants.
Tight end Jason Witten was selected for his fifth Pro Bowl. He has 69 catches for 815 yards and three touchdowns. Center Andre Gurode was picked for his third Pro Bowl, while guard Leonard Davis is back for the second year in a row.
Nose tackle Jay Ratliff was selected for his first Pro Bowl. He is second on the team with seven sacks. Davis was selected as a reserve; the others were selected as starters.
Romo was not selected, although he is second in the NFC with a 98.3 passer rating. He has passed for 3,013 yards with 24 touchdowns and 11 interceptions, but missed three games with a broken finger.
