Sulphur coach killed in accident

ROFF, Okla -- A well-known coach has died in a fatal accident. Sulphur Assistant Coach Jeff Nye died after the vehicle he was driving was hit by a train.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says Nye was driving a Jeep on County Road 1660, about a mile South of Roff when it was struck by a Burlington-Northern Santa Fe Train.

The passenger in that Jeep, 45-year-old H.C. Rackley was taken to Valley View in Ada, where he was last listed in stable condition.

Nye was 46 years old.
