Source: Former Baylor coach to get A&M Commerce job

Former Baylor Bears head Coach Guy Morriss is expected to be named head football coach of the Texas A&M Commerce Lions tomorrow at 3pm.

The Lions haven't confirmed the hiring, but KXII sources indicate that Morriss accepted the job and will be in Commerce on Tuesday to be introduced.

Morriss struggled in his five years at Baylor, posting an 18-40 record, and winning only 7 conference games during that time. He was dismissed in favor of Art Briles last year.

His greatest college success was in 2002, when he guided the Kentucky Wildcats to a 7-5 record in the SEC.
