Cowboys set pre-season schedule

The first NFL preseason game to be played in the Dallas Cowboys new stadium in Arlington, TX will take place on Friday night, August 21st with the Cowboys playing host to the Tennessee Titans. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. (central time), and the game will be televised nationally by FOX.

Dallas will open the preseason in Oakland with a Thursday night game on August 13th before the following week’s preseason home opener with the Titans. The Cowboys will host the San Francisco 49ers on Saturday night (time TBA) August 29th at the team’s new stadium before closing out the preseason with a Friday night, September 4th game at Minnesota (time TBA).

No date has been set for the Cowboys first home regular season game in the new stadium as the NFL has yet to release the 2009 regular season schedule.

Rookie Mini Camp May 1-3 (all days open to media)

OTA’s May 19-21, 26-28, June 2-4 and 8-10 (last one is Mon-Wed, while all other OTA’s are Tue-Thu)

*OTA media availability – one day per week (those days are TBA)

Mini Camp June 16-18 (all days open to media)

Training Camp Exact reporting day has not been set, but camp will start during the final week of July
