Stoops weighs in on Cowboys video board

Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops is taking a unique stance on the controversy involving punts hitting a massive scoreboard in the Dallas Cowboys' new billion-dollar stadium.
The third-ranked Sooners will play their season opener Sept. 5
at the stadium against No. 20 BYU.
Stoops said after practice Monday that it would be a "plus" if
punter Tress Way were to hit the scoreboard, simply because that
means he'd be "hitting it like you want to."
Stoops joked that last year his punters had trouble hitting the
ceiling of the Sooners' indoor practice facility, which is 65 feet
above the field.
He says any punt that hits the Cowboys' scoreboard 90 feet above
the playing surface would have to be a good punt with a lot of air
time and distance.
