OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) - The Dallas Mavericks have ended their team-record winning streak at 17 games.
The Golden State Warriors dominated the third quarter of a 117-100 blowout win over the Mavs. The Warriors carried a 13-point lead into the second half before outscoring the Mavericks 34-to-18 in the third period.
Mickael Pietrus had a team-high 20 points for the Warriors while Stephen Jackson, Al Harrington, Andris Biedrins and Jason Richardson each added 16.
Dirk Nowitzki struggled in the Mavericks' first loss since January 25th. Nowitzki scored just 13 points on 3-of-11 shooting, made seven turnovers and got a technical foul while sitting on the bench.
