ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) - The Texas Rangers ended their stadium naming rights deal with Ameriquest Mortgage today, severing a 30-year contract with the struggling lender.
Ameriquest Field debuted just three years ago. The team says the stadium will now be called Rangers Ballpark in Arlington.
Ameriquest's deal with the Rangers was reportedly worth $75 million. The parent company of the subprime lender, ACC Capital Holdings, announced last week that it was slashing its work force for the second time in less than a year.
