3-28-07 -- One of Southern Oklahoma's longest running baseball rivalries is having to endure a change.
For years the Mustangs and the Rebels have met in the Class A playoffs in both the fall and spring, even meeting in the State Championship game multiple times.
This year, however, Silo is competing in Class 2A while Rock Creek remains in Class A. Both teams currently hold the ranking as the best team in the state in their class. Also, being in different classes means that there is no chance that they will meet each other again in the post season.
However, the 2 are expected to face off at some point during this weekend's Bryan County Tournament.
