SOSU Looks to Keep Playoff Hopes Alive

4-24-07 - Southeastern Oklahoma State continues its push toward the Lone Star Conference Postseason playoffs today when it plays host to rival East Central at the Ballpark in Durant.

The possibilities are still endless for the Savage Storm (25-25) with five games remaining.

Southeastern can claim an LSC North Division championship if it can make up four games on Central Oklahoma and 1 1/2 games on Southwestern Oklahoma State, but more likely the Savage Storm will have to claim an LSC Tournament berth in another method.

SOSU needs to finish in the top two in the North Division or have the best overall conference record of the remaining teams to be a part of the six-team field that will compete for the conference title from May 5-8 at Abilene Christian's Crutcher Scott Field.
