OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - Dylan Lemley scored 16 points and Roff won its first boys basketball title since 1968, beating Red Oak 51-44 on Saturday night in the Class B final.
Roff (27-4) beat Red Oak (28-6) by 34 points a week earlier in an area tournament, but the Tigers never pulled away in the rematch. Roff's biggest lead was seven points and the Tigers clinched the win by making 7 of 9 free throws in the final 78 seconds.
Roff led 27-20 with 2:34 left in the first half but the Eagles tied the game three times in the third quarter before consecutive baskets by Aaron Cornell and Brendon Barr then gave Roff the lead for good.
Barr scored 10 points for Roff, located in Pontotoc County. Jordan Booth had 17 points and Dwight Camp had 16 for Red Oak, which was trying to repeat as champion.
