Mavs fall short in Portland, 101-89
LaMarcus Aldridge had 20 points and 10 rebounds and the Portland Trail Blazers defeated the Dallas Mavericks for the third time this season, 101-89 on Thursday night.

LaMarcus Aldridge had 20 points and 10 rebounds and the Portland Trail Blazers defeated the Dallas Mavericks for the third time this season, 101-89 on Thursday night.
Marcus Camby added 17 points and 11 rebounds for Portland, which
won the season series from the Mavericks for the first time since
the 1998-99 season.
Portland has won five straight at home and six of its last seven
games overall.
Caron Butler had 25 points for Dallas, which has lost four of
its last five games after a 13-game winning streak.
Shawn Marion's short jumper pulled the Mavs within 82-80 early
in the fourth, but Portland wouldn't let them get any closer.
