Davis star Rogers headed to ECU

The East Central University women’s basketball team has announced the signing of two student-athletes to the 2013-14 roster. The Lady Tigers are adding Alexa Adair (Edmond, Okla.) and Kendal Rogers (Davis, Okla.).

Adair is a 5-7 guard from Deer Creek High School in Edmond. As a senior she helped guide her team to a 5A Oklahoma State Championship. The Antlers finished 27-2 overall, 8-0 in the district and ranked No. 239 in the nation.

Adair averaged 8.0 points, 3.0 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game as a senior. She shot 38 percent from three-point range and was named to the Suburban All-Conference second team. Adair also earned All-Big City Honorable Mention honors and was a First Alternate Oklahoma Girls Basketball Coaches Association All-State pick.

Rogers is a 5-11 post player from Davis, who average 20.1 points, 11.8 rebounds and 7.0 blocks per game as a senior. For her efforts she was named to the Oklahoma Coaches Association and Oklahoma Girls Basketball Coaches Association All-State teams, as well as to the Lake Country All-Conference First Team.
