The East Central University men's basketball team will be host four Tiger Basketball Schools during the month of July for students entering the third to eighth grades.
The Tigers will host a Boys Basketball School July 14-16 and a Girls Basketball School July 21-23. Both schools will be broken up into a 3rd-5th and 6th-8th age group session. Instruction for 3rd-5th graders will be from 9 a.m.-noon and 6th-8th graders will have instruction from 1-4 p.m. at the Kerr Activities Center.
The Tiger Basketball School was developed to teach the skills needed to be a successful basketball player starting at the middle school level and into high school and collegiate play.
The cost for the Tiger Basketball School is $75 per participant and includes instruction from college basketball coaches and players, prizes and a Tiger Basketball t-shirt.
Spots are limited for each session and are filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. All participants are required to bring tennis shoes, appropriate basketball clothing and medical and liability forms (also available in the online registration).
