Southeastern football opened its spring season on Monday night with its first practice, opening the four-week spring session which will continue through April 20.
A total of 15 practices over the four-week span are scheduled, including scrimmages April 6 and April 13 leading up to the Spring Game on April 20.
The team welcomes three new full-time coaches and will see the staff shuffled around a bit.
Chad Speer will step into the offensive coordinator role and continue to coach the offensive line. He has been with the team since the 2010 season. The two additional few staff members, Scott Highsmith and Mitch Moore, will handle the quarterbacks and wide receivers, respectively.
The remaining new addition Bo Atterberry will guide the defense and coach the defensive line.
