Former Whitesboro Bearcats standout Travis Labhart has been beating the odds his entire life. Labhart comes from a small school. He walked on at Texas A&M. Now, Labhart will attempt to make the Houston Texans roster as an undrafted free agent.
Labhart played a key role in the Aggies offense last season and became a key target for Johnny Manziel. He caught 51 passes for 626 yards his senior season and scored 8 touchdowns.
"Being from a small town like Whitesboro and just making it to this point is exciting." Labhart said.
"It's surreal. It's something I have continued to work at and continue to grow and develop as a player."
The Texans will open the preseason on Saturday, August 9th against the Arizona Cardinals.
